Please don't click on the photos of Bella to see the full size version or you'll see that I've managed to do up one of her surcingles twisted - sigh - there's always something when I'm going to take photos!!!
You are such perfectionnist. Great photos but with the colors contrast between the black and rugs your ponies look all HUGE ^-^
ReplyDeleteGreat photos - wish I'd been up to the yard in the daylight when it snowed to get some good photos. If I make it up tomorrow and its still all frosty I might get some taken.
ReplyDeleteI see you're a fal pro fan, too! I was up until this year and then I bought a 6ft 6 mw viking for Tig and it exposed her bum when she grazed (she's 15.1hh!!). Not chuffed, they must have changed the cut. Also they are moving manufacturing to china as they've been bought out by Loveson (I think its them) which is a real shame. Trying to decide whether to keep it just in case or sell it...was only worn for 5 weeks!
Ended up with Rambo Duos for both of mine which can be nicely layed up with inners - Tig is up to 800g at the moment!!!! Hylo, being the precious ginger prince that he is, has now developed rubs on his shoulders..sigh. Last year it was rubs on his withers...... He really is a sensitive chap!!
I spent a fortune on a Fal Silver Interactive Viking Detachable for Jack last year and it rubbed his shoulders within a week. The lining went all rough within days where it had any friction against him - I've never had any rubs with the old Fals. He only wears it with a 'Bossy's Bib' now. I was far from impressed!
ReplyDeleteMy lot's chests are too wide and necks too thick for the 'wug' style fastenings but they do have some Rambo Original middleweight rugs with leg archs, which I really like, but I have to say that I'm very impressed with the Horseware Amigos. Mine are very easy on their rugs but they've had them for several years and they are good as new still, and SO cheap.
Grace has 2 stable rugs under hers - I didn't time clipping her very well, but she's been toasty so far under a stack of rugs.
